"When did I start wondering how to get people to 'notice' my work..." I feel you! That whole paragraph: Same, girl! I look back at my high school writing and am like...What happened to me??! But trust me, your work is noticed! We're STILL talking about the reading you did at First Tuesdays. Also, for what it's worth, I don't remember / didn't notice any spam substack email.
Have a safe trip! The hostels will likely be more fun than the hotels because of the additional social interaction.
I need to get to Mass MOCA. Thanks for the links - it must be wild to be in that Amy Podmore display with the clicking eyes! Have a wonderful time in Europe and do report back on the inexpensive places to stay there...!
Thank you for another installment of "you." I am sorry about your broken wrist. You rather slipped that in there, but I'm not sure I can believe there are minor broken wrists. I can understand how a malady of the body doesn't count for much next to a malady of the soul, however, particularly when the bodily complaint is of external bone. The writing trip to Europe sounds excellent.

I love this. I just love every single word.
This is absolutely and by far the best review I have ever gotten on anything I've written. Thanks for making me want to do this another day. Cheers.
